- Courses1. General English (intensive)
This course is an intensive English course with the aim of helping students to learn English as quickly as possible. You will study reading, writing, grammar and listening ... andtening and have a lot of practise speaking English. Students will study in the General English 20 lessons course in the morning and will then return to classes in the afternoon to study on our ‘Language for Life programme. Weekly Study - 30 hours per week.
2. General English (full-time)
This is a full-time General English course and will allow you to improve your overall English skills. As well as a strong focus on speaking, listening and communication you will also develop your reading, writing and grammar skills. Weekly Study - 20 lessons / 15 hours per week.
3. General English (part-time)
Our General English part-time courses allow you to study on a flexible timetable whilst improving in all areas of English. All part-time courses are subject to availability.Weekly Study - 8 - 20 lessons / 6 - 15 hours
4. English + Workplace English
This course is for those who use want to improve their English for use in their professional lives. The workplace language module focuses on a variety of professional workplace related themes, for example negotiation techniques, management styles and marketing and business communication skills. On this course, students will study on the General English course for 3 hours each morning and change to the Workplace English specific module in the afternoon. The workplace module focuses on a variety of employment related themes, for example negotiation techniques, management styles and marketing and business communication skills. The programme includes effective methods of producing authentic language, including role plays and presentations. Weekly Study - 30 lessons / 22.5 hours.
5. One-One Courses
This course is for students who wish to focus on a specific aspect of English, such as speaking and pronunciation, or perhaps specific assistance with exam or university preparation. One-One lessons allow you to benefit from tailored English teaching. Following a detailed meeting with the admissions team, you will agree a study programme with your teacher. Weekly Study - Flexible.

Examination courses:
1. English + IELTS exam
This course prepares you for all areas of the Academic IELTS exam. With continual assessment and feedback, you will also have the opportunity to regularly practise exam techniques using authentic IELTS exam materials. 30 lessons / 22.5 hours
2. English + Cambridge B2 First exam
This course is a preparation course for the Cambridge B2 First exam, covering the General English level needed for the exam as well as all parts of the exam. Weekly Study - 30 lessons / 22.5 hours.
3. English + Cambridge C1 Advanced exam
This course is a full-time preparation course for the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam, covering the General English skills needed for the exam as well as complete preparation for all parts of the exam. Weekly Study - 30 lessons / 22.5 hours.
Option part time: Weekly Study - 10 lessons / 7.5 hours - AccomodationHomestay
Staying with a local host provides the opportunity to truly experience a warm Manchester welcome. It also allows you to practise your speaking and listening skills in a natural ... environmentatural environment with friendly people. We carefully select our host families and they are within easy reach of the school with a commuting time of around 20 – 35 minutes using public transport. We carefully place each of our students with a homestay host that we believe is the right match for them, and because our hosts are warm, friendly and welcoming, our students find the experience to be enjoyable and rewarding. In homestay accommodation, the host treats the student as a full member of the household, eating together and sharing the common living areas; no more than four students will be accommodated in homestay accommodation at any one time (usually no more than one other student).

The school works with several professional residences in Manchester who offer quality student residence accommodation for our students. The student residence is a private building, usually accommodating several hundred students, in single rooms, and is always self-catering. It provides everything you need to make the most of your student experience. All facilities and bills are included and is located a short commuting distance from our school. Staying at our partner student residences means you can immerse yourself in the famous Manchester student life and enjoy independent living during your studies. You will live in a secure and safe environment, surrounded by other students (both British and international students).

The partner is an independently-owned school located in very heart of Manchester city centre, surrounded by museums, shops, three universities and everything you would expect from this modern, vibrant city. Students can join trips and activities every week and although some are free, some will be subject to an additional charge of between £1 – £30 (approximately).
About food
Vegetarian meals are possible. It is necessary to inform about your dietary needs in advance (by mentionning it in the application form)
Meeting point
Transfer from Manchester Airport is possible (for additional payment). The student can also get to the dormitory / host family independently - it takes about only 30 min by public transport to get from the the airport to the city.
